When Chopin Vodka was created in 1993, it was the first luxury vodka ever made. Now, to commemorate their 30th anniversary, Chopin released an exclusive run of Chopin Vintage Vault, a potato vodka drawn from its first release that has been maturing at the brand’s in-house distillery for the past three decades.
In unboxing this coveted collector’s item, I immediately noticed the fine attention to detail, from its hand-cut crystal decanter and alder wood chest to the natural pearl cocktail picks as a nod to the traditional 30th-anniversary gift symbolizing purity and wisdom.
I enjoyed it neat – this vodka shines on its own. Its bright, citrusy notes carried flavors of green apple, grapefruit, vanilla, and a touch of white pepper and coriander.
This is without a doubt the most special way to experience the world’s most-awarded potato vodka.
